The small book illustrates the rich and interesting glass collection displayed in the Villa Monastero, composed of about forty pieces of varying nature, the original characteristics of which are all particularly interesting: works of extraordinary decorative taste, produces by the famous Venetian workshops of Murano between the end of the 19th century and the start of the next. The guide, after a brief reconstruction of the history of glass-making, via technical drawings and an exhaustive photographic content, illustrates the essential characteristics of each pieces.
